Description:

Characterized by spiny white ribs or smooth silver colored ribs, organic thistles have a slightly bitter and firm flavor, devoid of extraneous tastes. Naturally rich in minerals and vitamins, organic thistles have a low calorie content and represent a food with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Used for multiple purposes in the kitchen, organic thistles can be paired with recipes based on meat, fish and vegetables, but they can also accompany first courses.
