Description:

Characterized by a small orange oval shape and a slightly hairy skin, the organic Japanese medlars have a juicy, sweet and slightly acidic pulp, free from foreign tastes. Naturally rich in mineral salts and vitamins, organic Japanese medlars are a low-calorie food, with satiating power, in fact indicated for diets. Used for multiple purposes in the kitchen, organic Japanese medlars are an excellent healthy snack for young and old, but they can also be used in the preparation of sweets, biscuits, cakes and pies.
