Nel 2017 in Italia il settore biologico Italiano ha sviluppato un fatturato di oltre 5 miliardi di euro, registrando un incremento di vendite al dettaglio del 10,5% in linea con il trend di crescita costante negli ultimi dieci anni (un dato che si amplifica notevolmente se consideriamo anche l’export dei prodotti biologici).
