Characterized by a dark brown to black color and a delicate aroma, organic dark flax seeds are rich in omega-3s and calcium. Natural source of vitamins and mineral salts such as magnesium, sodium, phosphorus and zinc, organic dark flax seeds represent a protein food also suitable for those who follow vegan and vegetarian diets. They can be used in the preparation of salads, muesli, bread and soups. Furthermore, an excellent herbal tea against constipation is obtained from organic dark flax seeds.Â
